Beet Pulp Pellets
Beet pulp pellets, obtained from the manufacturing process of Canadian sugar beets for molasses, are an excellent source of dietary fibre with an NSC level of approximately 15%. For those seeking to minimize sugar intake, these sugars can be largely removed by soaking the product thoroughly and rinsing with clean, fresh water.
Please note, while there has been no change to the formulation or nutritional value of our beet pulp pellets, as of 2025 the tag regulations have been changed to display minimums and maximums of certain ingredients. We are now required to list invert sugars on feed tags as “Minimum 0.1%.”
See below for clarity on the nutrient values present in our Canadian made beet pulp pellets.
| Nutrients | Feed Tag Specs (as per current regulations) | Actual Specs |
| Protein | Minimum 8.5% | ~ 8.5% |
| Fibre | Maximum 18% | ~ 17% |
| Starch | (unlisted) | ~ 4% |
| Invert Sugars | Minimum 0.1% | ~ 11% |
